The Pre-op Clinic approved Mum for surgery this week and the operation is now scheduled to go ahead with Dr Farouk next Wednesday 13th February. She will go into hospital the night before on Tuesday 12th February and is likely to be in hospital for 2-3 days before she is transferred back to the Duchess of Kent Hospice. I have made plans to stay in Reading from Tuesday to Thursday next week and intend to spend as much time with Mum as possible.
